by Christine M. Hall, John Washbrook

Publisher: Oxford University Press, USA
Publication Date: Monday, May 01, 2000
ISBN: 0192685937

Book Summary:
This CD-ROM contains over 6,000 annotated, high-resolution digitized images of radiographs of patients with skeletal dysplasias and malformation syndromes. 200 conditions are displayed covering a wide range of ages. These 200 conditions encompass over 80% of the total group of patients presenting skeletal abnormalities. The images are drawn from the unique database of over 2,500 patients and of the order of 25,000 radiographs (held at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust).

The Radiological Atlas of Malformation Syndromes provides an essential reference resource and teaching aid, especially for all radiological, orthopaedic, and genetic training centres. It is designed for use by diagnosticians and clinicians concerned with the diagnosis and management of patients with these rare conditions, particularly radiologists, orthopaedic surgeons, clinical geneticists, and pediatricians. Information on a network version is available from the publisher.
