Biography:     I graduated in medicine in june/2005 by UFMG/Belo Horizonte/Brazil. Instead of pursuing further internship, I prefered to enter a Master in Information Science (Knowledge Management)in UFMG to study the relationship between information systems and executive decision making in healthcare facilities. I worked as chief of information of my state's neonatal screening institution from july/2005 to february/2007 and I currently work as Medical Information Consultant in a health insurance company. In this organization, I am one of the leaders of the electronic health record project.
I have advanced knowledge of English (Cambridge certificate of proficiency) and French (DELF B2). I have intermediate technical experience with bio-statistics and tools (SPSS), Java, SQL. I have also experience with the use of the balanced scorecard in healthcare settings.
