Biography:     I have qualified in Medicine (MBBS) followed by a postgraduate Diploma in Child health .Thereafter I qualified in a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) with specialization in Computational biology/Bioinformatics and usage of Micro array data analysis with special research interest in ‘Gene expression micro array data analysis. I also have teaching experience in Computational biology. I have also done modules in Biostatistics, Bio-mathematics and Molecular biology during my M.Tech course. I am keen on pursuing a career in Medical Informatics/Computational biology/Bioinformatics. With my knowledge of clinical medicine, bioinformatics and bio-statistics and skills in microarray data analysis, I would like to develop an integrated approach towards medicine, genomics and informatics.
