CARROLLTON, Ga. -- Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of integrated practice management and electronic medical records (EMR) software for physicians' practices, announced today the company was awarded the prestigious "Best in KLAS" award for 2004 for PrimeSuite (R) in the Ambulatory Billing and Scheduling category for 1-5 physicians. PrimeSuite integrates a medical practice's clinical, financial, and administrative processes, streamlining practice workflow and enhancing practice profitability.
"We are honored to receive this prestigious industry award from the KLAS organization," said Tee Green, president and COO of Greenway Medical Technologies. "It is humbling to know that actual users of PrimeSuite were involved in the ratings. This award is significant because it generates a different kind of awareness among potential users of our applications."
Greenway also received the second highest rating in the Ambulatory Billing and Scheduling category for 6-25 physicians, as well as achieving very high ratings in the Ambulatory EMR category for 6-25 physicians and in the Ambulatory EMR category for 1-5 physicians. Greenway's ambulatory solutionTM, PrimeSuite, is a single fully integrated system which includes billing and scheduling, as well as other practice management functionality, and complete EMR functionality. KLAS does not currently have a category for a complete ambulatory solution, therefore PrimeSuite was evaluated in the separate categories.
PrimeSuite leverages the richness of Microsoft based application tool sets in an exclusively web based environment utilizing .NET. PrimeSuite integrates the clinical, financial, and administrative tasks within a physician's practice. All information captured within the different areas of the system flows together to streamline a workflow process. This integrated workflow streamlines the practice's overall operations, improves coding and billing accuracy, and ultimately maximizes practice profitability.
Greenway will be presented the prestigious KLAS award at the annual HIMSS conference in Dallas, Texas. Greg Shilling, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Greenway Medical Technologies will proudly accept the award on behalf of the company.
