IRVING, Texas -- Healthaxis Inc. (NASDAQ: HAXS), a leading technology enhanced provider of fully integrated BPO and claims and admin solutions and services for health benefit administrators and health insurance claims processors, announced that Kent McRee has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He also joins the Senior Management Committee of the Company. In this role, he replaces Charles Ramsburg, who left the company at the end of January for personal reasons. Kent was previously Vice-President of Sales. He now assumes full responsibility for all of the company's sales and marketing activities.
Kent McRee has over 20 years' experience in technology based solutions for outsourcing claims administration, claims workflow technology, claims repricing and cost containment strategies and products, and BPO workflow solutions. He has a successful track record selling to large, mid-range and small payer markets, as well as PPO network companies. He previously served in executive sales and marketing positions with GTESS Corporation, A&G Healthcare Services, and Winterbrook VSO. Kent has been operating out of the Dallas area for most of his career.
