WILMINGTON, Mass. -- Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. (NYSE: CRL) (Charles River), a premier global provider of solutions that advance the drug discovery and development process, announces that it has established a worldwide collaboration with Deltagen, Inc., a leading provider of drug discovery tools. Deltagen has created one of the world's foremost repositories of knockout mice, and Charles River is pleased to become the sole source provider of these repository materials, including cryopreserved mouse embryos, sperm and ES cells. This collaboration further strengthens the long-term relationship that Charles River and Deltagen have enjoyed and allows the research community easy access to all of Deltagen's knockout mouse lines in all forms from ES cells to live animals.
