Sentillion Announces BridgeWorks Version 2.2

New Graphical Interface Wizard Allows Healthcare Organizations to Rapidly Single Sign-On-Enable Their Applications
SAN DIEGO -- 2006 Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference & Exhibition -- Sentillion, Inc., the leading provider of identity and access management (IAM) solutions for the always-on healthcare industry, today announced the availability of the latest version of its Vergence(R) BridgeWorks solution, an all-in-one software solution that lets users quickly and easily develop application-specific software adapters -- called Bridges -- to enrich an application with Sentillion's single sign-on, context management, and user provisioning capabilities. BridgeWorks enables the creation of Bridges for controlling even the most complex application behaviors with ease, simplifying the use of applications by caregivers in order to safeguard system security and protect patient privacy.

The latest version of BridgeWorks extended its rich support for programming Bridges to include a powerful new graphical interface, BridgeBuilder, which enables individuals without programming knowledge or experience to easily create powerful single sign-on/off Bridges through a self-guided wizard. BridgeBuilder even enables dealing with the unique password management features of each target application, such as automatically managing password expiration.

"The Vergence BridgeWorks product is simply amazing," said Drew Hunt, network security, Valley Medical Center. "We now have the ability to self- administer Bridge deployment and maintenance, which has allowed our organization to quickly extend the benefits of single sign-on to additional clinical and non-clinical applications with ease."

The ability to quickly integrate applications and add critical clinical workflow enhancements, such as single sign-on, single sign-off and context management, or automating account management to ensure compliance with access management policies, represents a significant challenge to healthcare organizations. Vergence BridgeWorks helps these organizations overcome such challenges and is part of the reason why Sentillion leads the healthcare industry in successful IAM deployments and in the number of live users at 153,000 caregivers strong.

Vergence is a modularized suite that includes user provisioning, strong authentication, single sign-on, clinical context management and privacy auditing. Sentillion's products are already in use across North America, including nationally recognized institutions such as Cottage Health System, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's HealthCare, Lahey Clinic, INTEGRIS Health, Parkview Health, Sharp HealthCare, Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Vancouver Coastal Health, and all 163 Veterans' Affairs Medical Centers.
