|MINNEAPOLIS -- Zynx Health, the leader in evidence-based healthcare, and LSS Data Systems, a leading developer of financial and clinical practice management software for physicians, have announced a strategic alliance. The companies' recently signed agreement brings Zynx Health's evidence-based clinical decision support into ambulatory and clinic settings where a significant amount of the nation's healthcare services is provided.
Under the agreement, LSS Data Systems will integrate Zynx AmbulatoryCare(TM) with LSS Data Systems' comprehensive Medical and Practice Management (MPM) Suite, a full-featured ambulatory care solution for clinicians and administrative staff in practices and clinics. With Zynx AmbulatoryCare, physician offices and clinics can access Zynx evidence from within the MPM Suite to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of care.

Zynx AmbulatoryCare contains clinical synopses, order sets, reminders, alerts, and performance measure checklists designed to be integrated into ambulatory electronic medical records. It focuses on chronic disease management, health maintenance and the alignment of physician offices with pay-for-performance initiatives. LSS Data Systems' MPM Suite includes key functionality such as scheduling and registration, workload and task management, ordering, decision support, encounter documentation and billing. It also includes a robust ambulatory EMR that integrates with MEDITECH's HCIS, enabling an enterprise-wide health record that includes clinical data from both ambulatory and acute care settings.
