ClinPhone Strengthens its Global Position with Changes to its Executive Team |

Nottingham, UK -- ClinPhone, the leading Clinical Technology Organization, announces a new structure for its Senior Executive Team after a year of significant commercial growth.
Following the acquisition of DataLabs in October 2006, ClinPhone is the first company to offer a truly comprehensive portfolio of clinical software and services to the biopharmaceutical industry, providing its customers with a complete end-to-end clinical trial technology solution. 2006 also saw the successful completion of ClinPhone's Initial Public Offering (IPO), raising the company's profile and consolidating its position as a market leader. The restructuring of the team includes new appointments which reflect ClinPhone's continued commitment to international growth.
Following the DataLabs acquisition, ClinPhone has appointed Patrick Hughes to the position of Senior Vice President of Software & Marketing to ensure the smooth transition of the organization into a hybrid business delivering both software and services to the clinical trials market. Since joining ClinPhone in 1998 Patrick has held various positions on the Executive Management Team including European Sales Director and Global Head of Product Strategy. Patrick retains responsibility for global marketing.
In addition, two new members have been appointed to join the Executive Team, Ian Jennings as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Nick Richards as Senior Vice President of Strategic Product Development. Ian's new position will be to drive the company's revenue growth through strategic management of ClinPhone's global business development teams; Ian's appointment to this position reflects ClinPhone's commitment to providing its global customers and partners with a broad portfolio of software services. Prior to this appointment Ian was Vice President of Business Development for Europe and Asia at ClinPhone. Nick will manage ClinPhone's Product Management Group, ensuring that each product is commercially successful, maintains a competitive edge and continues to meet the evolving needs of customers. Prior to joining ClinPhone, Nick was Chief Operating Officer of DataLabs.
