Eastern Biotech launches Rapid Diagnostic kits for Bird flu, Malaria, Dengue fever in India & Africa |

Dubai(UAE): Eastern Biotech & Life Sciences, UAE, a company established in Dubiotech Park, Dubai, announced the launch of In Vitro diagnostic kits for avian influenza, malaria and dengue fever and many other rapid tests for self testing in India & Africa.
Currently the Company is working into 6 different countries and has had requests for information from another 12 countries. Indian is biggest market for these kits in the world. With the start of the mosquito season in many tropical countries it appears that Dengue Fever is becoming prevalent throughout the Middle East, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia. Dengue Fever comes in 4 forms. In the mildest form it can incapacitate an individual for up to 6 months. In the worst form the individual dies within days through massive hemorrhaging. The only treatment is fluid replacement therapy which must be started immediately. Standard laboratories take a minimum of three (3) days to as long as twenty-one (21) days to complete the testing. Very few laboratories are even capable of doing the testing for Dengue Fever.
The Eastern Biotech rapid test kit is a single use, disposable, accurate, cost effective, easy to use, test for the screening of HIV 1&2, Hepatitis B&C, Dengue Fever, Syphilis, Malaria, and Cancer. The kits can be used Worldwide except UAE.
The last few months have been really good for Eastern Biotech. We have received good order from an UK-based company for making pregnancy kits. "I have received a sizable order from South Africa & India as well. Some more orders we will be getting from South Africa every other month now. The orders are now picking up," shared Pankaj Sohaney, Manager Marketing and business development.
"Right now, most diagnosis of dengue is done as an academic exercise - after the event in India. Our test will enable rapid diagnosis of dengue to monitored and diagnosed." Said Junaid Faruq, Director of Marketing.
