Cardiovascular Imaging and Analysis Software Provider Shina Systems to Launch AngioCt at TCT 2007 |
| AngioCt - integration of Cardiac CT with Angiography in the cathlab, to be showcased at TCT 2007, Washington DC, October 22-24, 2007. |
Washington, DC -- Shina Systems Ltd, a leading cardiovascular imaging and analysis software solution company, will showcase is groundbreaking new product AngioCt at TCT 2007 - the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutic Conf erence and Exposition, in Washington DC, booth 1108, October 22-24, 2007.
AngioCt introduces an innovative approach of integrating angiography and computed tomography angiography (CTA) data. Seamlessly integrating into regular catheterization procedures, AngioCt brings Cardiac CT into the cathlab, providing cardiologists with decision making factors for planning and executing the catheterization.
"Co-registered with angiography, CTA can be used for determination of stent size and location, optimal C-arm orientation for minimizing foreshortening and vessel masking, and can provide a reference vessel path in cases of CTOs," said Naor Shi na, President and CEO of Shina systems.
"Integrated in our cathlab, AngioCt was used in dozens of catheterization procedures. It has been helping us to avoid stent misplacement, reduce radiation, reduce contrast injections and overall procedure time enabling us to practice better medicin e," said Prof. Rafael Beyar, CEO and Director General of Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel.
