HaiVision's MAKO-HD Brings Medical Grade High Definition Network Video Collaboration to MEDICA

(Montreal, Canada), the world leader in performance video encoding technology, today announces that at MEDICA in Dusseldorf (Nov. 14-17), two major medical market vendors used a bi-directional high definition network video connections between their respective stands using HaiVision's MAKO-HD network video technology. Collaborative demonstrations enabled the prospects of each manufacturer to remotely view the video from the high definition cam eras of the other manufacturer. MEDICA is the world's largest annual medical trade exposition.

HaiVision's MAKO-HD leverages the most efficient H.264 video encoding and achieves astonishing end to end latency of just 70 milliseconds. The MAKO-HD supports high definition resolution up to 1080p.
