Atlanta, GA -- StatCom, the leading provider of patient flow logistics and tracking software, announces the appointment of Jim Rosenblum as executive vice president, products and chief technology officer. Rosenblum joins Stat Com's senior leadership team and will be responsible for defining product strategy and development, as well as scaling the organization and processes to support the company's growth. StatCom's unique hospital-wide enterprise solution focu ses on optimizing patient throughput and capacity by managing patient flow from admission to discharge.

"Jim brings v aluable healthcare industry experience, as well as software development leadership that will ensure the performance of our product."
StatCom coordinates patients and resources from admission through discharge, including bed management, environmental services, transportation, patient LOS management, OR patient flow, ED patient flow, and discharge coordination. It informs physicians, s taff, and family as to the location and status of the patient throughout the care progression, and it provides real-time tools to effectively manage that flow within and between departments. A number of leading and innovative hospitals in the U.S. are u sing StatCom to address their patient flow challenges.

Rosenblum brings nearly 20 years of software development and healthcare solution leadership experience to StatCom. Most recently, he served as chief technology officer for Emmi Solutions where he was responsible for technology platform, software develop ment, IT, QA and client services departments. Prior to that, he served in senior executive roles at I-trax and Ikadega. Before I-trax, Rosenblum was chief technology officer of Allscripts, Inc., a billion dollar healthcare information technology company . At Allscripts he managed the product development of its successful, hand-held physician prescribing system and contributed significantly to Allscripts becoming a billion dollar company. Rosenblum is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information a nd Management Systems (CPHIMS).
