Connextions, Inc. Appoints Senior Operations Professional To Oversee And Build Healthcare Practice

Paul Perleberg, formerly with Fair Isaac Corp. and Accenture, Will Expand Company's Penetration of Consumer-Direct Healthcare Market
Orlando, FL -- Connextions, Inc. today announced that it has hired Paul Perleberg as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company's healthcare division, ConnextionsHealth. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for development, operations and growth of ConnextionsHealth - a recognized provider of business technologies and services that enable health insurance plans to acquire and retain individual members and small group subscribers. Mr. Perleberg brings 20 years of experience in business development and operations to this role.

Paul Perleberg, 42, joins Connextions from Fair Isaac Corporation (NYS:FIC), where as a member of the senior executive team and former officer of the company he helped grow Fair Isaac's revenue to $800 million from $200 million over a 5-year period. Recently at Fair Isaac he served as Managing Director of International Operations in the company's London office, where he led a team that achieved record revenue growth. Prior to that, he had P&L responsibility for Fair Isaac's healthcare and insurance business units, along with responsibility for all of Fair Isaac's professional services, product management operations supporting this $800 million business.

"This important appointment," according to Connextions CEO Jack LeFort, "comes at a critical time for Connextions, as we deepen our commitment to the healthcare sector. Investment in professionals of Paul's caliber will enable us to provide a significantly broader and more strategic range of services for our health insurance clients; providing them with tangible competitive advantage as the industry works to establish a B2C retail orientation in the face of cost-shifting from employers to individual consumers."

Mr. Perleberg noted, "Connextions is an emerging leader in healthcare business process outsourcing, with industry-leading products and services, a strong management team and a portfolio of world-class customers. From both a resource and market timing perspective, the company is perfectly poised for rapid growth, and I am thrilled to play a role at this point in its development."

Previously, Mr. Perleberg was associated with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where over the course of his tenure at that firm, he held various senior management positions serving customers in the healthcare and financial services industries. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, with a degree in mathematics.

Last month, Connextions announced the partial acquisition of Aha! Software LLC, a Denver-based pioneer in predictive analytics technologies that Connextions plans to integrate with its proprietary bConnected customer relationship management (CRM) platform that healthcare organizations currently use to manage touch points at each stage of the customer lifecycle - including initial sales, customer service and retention. Connextions also recently announced the establishment of its third customer care facility, which will employ more than 750 people in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Connextions Inc. is a technology-based business process outsourcing firm with broad expertise in the healthcare industry; assisting well-known health insurance plans and healthcare providers in their efforts to attract, transact with, and retain individual consumers. Connextions is a privately held company, and part of the New Mountain Partners II, L.P. portfolio, a private equity fund sponsored and managed by Manhattan-based New Mountain Capital LLC.
