The Truax Group Makes Patient Safety Training Modules Web-based

Patient safety training modules to be offered via the internet.
Lewiston, NY -- The Truax Group, a healthcare consulting company that focuses on patient safety, has announced it will offer some of its interactive patient safety training modules via the internet. Best known for its free Patient Safety Tip of the Week newsletter, the Lewiston, NY-based company offers a variety of consulting services in the patient safety and healthcare quality improvement arena.

According to Bradley T. Truax, M.D., principal consultant for the company, "we've found that many of our interactive training modules can be delivered via the web, providing both convenience and cost savings to our customers."

"For example, all the tools we use in our Root Cause Analysis training sessions are easily adapted to web-based seminars and we can maintain the same degree of interactivity that we do during our face-to-face sessions," he noted.

Interested healthcare organizations can find out more by going to www.patientsafetysolutions.com or by calling toll-free at 1-866-9PSAFETY. On the website they can also see this week's Patient Safety Tip of the Week or browse through the Tip of the Week Archives, What's New in the Patient Safety World Archives, and access a variety of patient safety tools and resources and links. They can also easily sign up to get the free Patient Safety Tip of the Week via e-mail.
