Jasper Wireless Enables Arrowhead Electronic Healthcare to Deliver Wireless eDiary Solution for Clinical Drug Trial

eDiary Transmits Data from Hemophiliac Patients to a Global Database Accessible by Research Study Teams
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Jasper Wireless announced today that it has enabled Arrowhead Electronic Healthcare to provide a wireless eDiary solution for patients participating in a 13-month drug trial being conducted in 20 countries around the world. The eDiary collects patient data that will be used to determine the efficacy of a new long-acting clotting factor used to treat hemophilia.

The innovative eDiary combines an easy-to-use handheld device with global wireless service from Jasper Wireless, improving patients' compliance with the data collection requirements of the clinical drug trial. It enables patients in 20 countries throughout North America and Europe to transmit real-time treatment information to a global database, providing timely, accurate data for study teams to analyse. Jasper Wireless also provides a web-based Control Center that makes it easy for Arrowhead to manage the application.

"Our eDiary solutions are designed to make compliance simpler for drug trial participants," said Jeff Albrecht, president of Arrowhead Electronic Healthcare. "By combining our handheld interface with Jasper
Wireless's global service, patients can easily collect and transmit treatment data wherever they are. This ease-of-use helps them
participate not just in the clinical drug trial, but also in improving their own healthcare."

"Wireless data transmission does more than connect remote machines and devices; it also extends and enhances the quality of life for human beings," said Cindy Patterson, executive vice president - sales and
marketing at Jasper Wireless. "Our global wireless network provides a single source for local service in dozens of countries, enabling
Arrowhead's eDiary to connect patients around the world with research teams who are developing the next generation of life-saving
pharmaceuticals. We are very proud to partner with Arrowhead in providing a wireless solution that facilitates this kind of invaluable drug research."
