Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. Chooses Phoenix Health Systems to Implement Data Replication and Disaster Recovery Solutions |
| Phoenix Health Systems, Inc. was recently selected by Honolulu, Hawaii based Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. (DLS) to provide backup repository and remote data vaulting solutions. |
Dallas, TX –– Phoenix Health Systems, Inc. (Phoenix), a national provider of healthcare strategic consulting, information technology (IT) outsourcing and revenue cycle management services, was recently selected by Honolulu, Hawaii based Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. (DLS) to provide backup repository and remote data vaulting solutions.
As a follow up to a disaster recovery planning effort performed by Phoenix, the parties worked collaboratively to design a repository solution that would enhance existing backup processes. The solution will ensure that DLS’s critical health care data will be protected, with frequent and secure electronic replication to the Phoenix Leveraged Service Center in Richardson, Texas - a complete out of state data repository. In the event of a disaster, DLS’s data will be secure and can be restored once local services are restored.
“The Hawaiian Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean are vulnerable to disasters from earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunami,” Said Raymond Yeung, Vice President Information Systems, Diagnostic Laboratory Services, Inc. “We are pleased that Phoenix was able to provide an innovative disaster recovery solution that can protect our critical patient data in the event of an incident.”
"Phoenix is delighted to provide DLS a secure disaster recovery solution from our Richardson Leveraged Service Center," said Darin LeGrange, President and CEO of Phoenix Health Systems. "We are committed to providing innovative, cost effective solutions which not only support the delivery of quality care, but are flexible and tailored to the unique needs of our clients."
